I ended up reading this somewhere else because I got too caught up with the storyline 😭
It wasn’t too dramatic to the point of feeling cheesy, and the wolf’s obsession with the puppy is adorable
Also the small dog acting all grown and tough is explained early on— he was raised by fighting dogs so he grew up thinking of himself as one, too!
It’s a nice read. I don’t usually revisit stories I’ve read before, but I might read this one through another time.
