Bruh….the whole time he was held captive by the scientist or his mentor and was being abused, he acted like he had no way of escaping, the whole “oh i dont know what to do? Woe is me~” while at anytime he could have escaped. Jump out into the ocean, have the merman swim u to safety, u can clearly see its infatuated with u! Or heck, u were on land and it wasnt like they had u in chains or behind iron barred doors, u coulda escape and run away! Yet the moment hes safe with the merman who is clearly in love with him, hes all “im rambo, i can sneak and hide and get away. im in the middle of nowhere surrounded by weird anctient lizzard creatures and mermans? No problemo! I need to hide my blood scent, activate first aid emergency!” like make it consistent. Lol. Hes all out of character! Ur facsinated by mermans and its been ur lifelong dream to see one yet the moment u see one, ur either humping it or too busy trying to get as far away as possible. And am I the only one who finds everyones reaction a little…underwhelming? I mean, yall just found a mermaid! A whole clan of them! Yet everyone is acting like mermaids are an everyday occurance. Other than the beginning, no one seems shocked or surprise lol.
